A BMFA Friday
It was a Blue Moon Fiber Arts Friday here. My Socks That Rock, from the Rockin’ Sock Club finally showed up. I went down to the mail box and there was a little slip telling me that there was a package in the Club House for me. I grabed the slip, left everything esle in the mail box, and did a happy skippy dance down to the Club House and there is was, the box that I have been racing to the mail box for, for a week now.
No pics, as I do know that there are still Club Members waiting for their kits, and while I know that there are spoilers out there, you won’t find one here. You’ll just have to wait until I finish the socks.
On my spinning wheel is the BFMA Sheep to Shoe kit I picked up at Madrona. It’s done too, I’m just going to let that high energy, over spun yarn sit for another day before skein it up to set the twist, in the mean time, here’s some eye candy.
Sorry about the bad lighting, it’s over cast here in Seattle (big surprise huh?), so I couldn’t get a good light. Once it’s skeined, washed, and the twist set, I’ll get another picture. You’ll hardly believe it’s the same yarn. It looks nothing like it did when it was still 3 singles on 3 bobbins.

Hey, lady! Stellar spinning job! Triple ply? I’ve been going back and forth on whether or not I’m going to buy myself a lazy kate already.
I can’t wait to see that all knitted up!

This stuff you spun is gorgeous! I did my happy skippy dance yesterday too. I was going to post with a spoiler alert, but will follow your lead and not do it. I clicked on someone else’s blog and started to see some stuff. I had to close it really quickly, and I was a bit pissed that I got that sneak preview. I definitely do NOT want to do that to someone else!
