Another Sweater finished
I had a very late night last night finishing this one for an impromptu Baby Shower at work today. It was originally scheduled for last week, but it was canceled indefinitely, the baby is tiny for as far along as mom is, so mom had to check into the hospital for something to help the baby grow, mom and baby are just fine, and she’s on limited activity and will be working from home until her maternity leave starts. So we simply didn’t know if she’d be back in the office before the baby, so I stopped knitting the BSJ. Yesterday, we found out she was coming in for a couple hours, which led to my late night knitting marathon. BSJ finished and gifted, of course I was sewing up the last seam this morning at work, but it’s done.

Yarn: Blue Moon Fiber Arts Baby Surprise Jacket kit – Sock Candy, 96% cotton / 4% elite, approx 200 yds / 183m, 2 oz / 57g. One each of the following 4 commercially dyed solid colors: Sunlight, Denim, Madder, and Copper
Needles: Addi Turbo’s #3
Pattern: Baby Surprise Jacket from Knitting Workshop & The Opinionated Knitter, (which ever one was handy when I needed it) by Elizabeth Zimmerman.
And now I’m off to make up for some lost sleep.

Really cute! And very different colors for you, too! Hopefully baby will grow nicely and wear it in good health!!

Very cute! I like the stripes in it and the buttons are adorable. Did the kit come with the buttons?
