Holiday knitting wrap up.

And here’s the final count. Knitting 1 ME 8. I managed all my knitting goals but one, the Jane Origami Sweater. I still have one more side to go on that so I hope to have it done by the New Year.

Another Sweater finished

I had a very late night last night finishing this one for an impromptu Baby Shower at work today.  It was originally scheduled for last week, but it was canceled indefinitely, the baby is tiny for as far along as mom is, so mom had to check into the hospital for something to help the [...]

Wendnesday - What’s in Works this Week

Wow, I’m actually posting this on a Wednesday, with the way the week is going I’m surprised.  With a 3 day weekend and a shortened work week, I’m feeling a bit like I need a do-over week.  It’s reflecting itself on the knitting front too.  While there was an FO, the Kauni sweater got frogged, I [...]

Sweater #6 and a swatch

Pattern: Eris by The Girl From Auntie
Yarn: Cascade Cloud 9 (50% merino/50% Angora)
Needles: Options #4 and 6
This yarn is  a delight to work with, it’s soft, a little on the fuzzy size, but what do you expect, it’s angora.  Splicing this yarn is great, it spit spices wonderfully without any moisture at all.  Do be [...]
