I got tagged again, this time for 7 random things, and this time by A Knitting Knutty.

1. I’m bilingual, sort of. I can speak both English (or at least I think I can, but the jury is still out on that one) and I know Tagalog, the national language of the Philippines, I can speak it well enough and even think in Tagalog, but when I was handed a Bday card in Tagalog, I was a a total loss. See I never formally learned the language, but instead just started speaking it one day.

2. My first plane flight was when I was 15 days old, yup, Mom and Dad braved a trans Pacific flight with a new born.

3. I was raised in Catholic Schools….nuff said.

4. If you tell me to turn right, there is a 50/50 chance I’ll go left, and vice versa. Tell me to urn diamond or emerald, and I’ll go that direction every time. For those that don’t know, I wear an emerald on my right hand and the diamond on the left.

5. DH and I rarely go to movies, and when we do it’s usually a drive in, I went to a movie theater a week and a half ago for the first time in 7 years. I don’t do sitting still very well.

6. I love my job as a data analyst, but I hate math, go figure that one out.

7. I’m a slob, I have a mountain in the middle of our room, it grows and grows until I get tired of it, then it goes away for a few days and starts growing again. Good thing DH keeps the rest of the house clean.

I’m not tagging anyone but, if you haven’t been tagged by someone else, feel free.

Tagged by Sachi … sort of, she didn’t want anyone to feel obligated, but she listed me as someone she would love to see a list from
The rules:
1. Each player starts with 8 random facts/habits about themselves.
2. People who are tagged write a blog post about their own 8 random things and post these rules.
3. At the end of your blog you need to tag 8 people and post their names.
4. Don’t forget to leave them a comment and tell them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

1. While I didn’t meet my husband on the internet, we did meet during technical support training for a national ISP.

2. My first plane flight was when I was 15 days old, my parents and I migrated from the Philippines a mere 15 days after I was born.

3. I sleep about 4 hours a night, if I sleep for more than 6, I’m toast and can’t function.

4. My parents wanted to give me an American name, so I was named Myrtle, after a character in a Perry Mason novel, I used that name until I was 19, and legally I was Myrtle, until I married my husband.

5. I am a product of Catholic schools…’nuff said.

6. I am horribly addicted to Black Tea Lemonades, aka “damn things”. They are not nearly as good now that the recipe has changed, but I still can’t get in the car without swinging by Starbucks to pick one up, even if I’m just going down the street, if there is a Starbucks on the way, I must stop.

7. My car and my CC take me yarn shopping when I’m not paying attention, not that I’m complaining mind you, they have wonderful taste in fiber.

8. I don’t like cooking and I’m a terrible house keeper, good thing I married a man who doesn’t mind doing both, otherwise the house would be a complete and total mess.

Tag free zone, so if you want to share, feel free and comment here so I can go check out your list.
