And she misses

Yes, that is 1 complete sock, and one sock that almost has a complete gussett.  Yes I realize that yesterday was DH’s B-day.  Yes I do realize his feet are probably cold today all because I’m a bad wife and didn’t finish his socks. Yes, I am a bad knitter because I didn’t finish in [...]

Knitting as fast as I can

Accckkkk!  I’m knitting as fast as I can to finish Shedir this month.  I joined a KAL with my knitting group in Cali, and I’m knitting with them in spirit, since knitting in the flesh is a bit difficult now that I am 1100 or so miles away.  So I’m knitting to get this thing [...]

I’m a slacker

My lack of posting has just been pointed out to me, but not much going on around my house.  Working, knitting and spinning.
Oh yeah and some flooding, not at my house, but in the neigborhood.  As of this morning, there are very limited routes for me to take to get to work.  All alternate routes [...]

Clue 1 Secret of the Stole

No I really didn’t forget about the SotS, I just got a little side tracked, but here is Clue 1, I quite literally just finished it.  It’s not likely I’ll get on track and finish Clue 2 before Clue 3 comes out, but I’m just a little bit behind.

So much for What’s in the works wednesday

Clearly I missed what’s in the works wednesday again, so here’s a recap of what I’m working on.
Flight of Fantasy shawl, I’m knitting along on it and making progress.  I think I’m at the half way mark, the rows are now up to over 200 stitches.  I finished the 3rd pattern set Wednesday night.
Marlinda socks [...]

Wendnesday - What’s in Works this Week

Wow, I’m actually posting this on a Wednesday, with the way the week is going I’m surprised.  With a 3 day weekend and a shortened work week, I’m feeling a bit like I need a do-over week.  It’s reflecting itself on the knitting front too.  While there was an FO, the Kauni sweater got frogged, I [...]

Belated Weekend and Wed What’s in the works.

Last Saturday, Libby, Christina, Christina’s Grandma (Sorry Grandma, I didn’t get a pic of you, but your pink afghan managed to sneak a toe in) and Libby’s son MHP, all met at Village Yarn and Tea to do some knitting, and even better I remembered not only to bring a camera, but to actually use [...]

Progress report on MS3

I finished with Clue 6 over the weekend, and kept right on going onto clue 7 without taking any pics.  Had I taken a pic what you would have seen is the same as clue 5, just with more rows done.  I’m on track to finish it this weekend, while not quite the end of [...]

Still Slogging along

I finally finished Clue5 on the MS3 shawl, the last clue (7) came out yesterday so Now I’m 2 clues behind, but there are no more coming out so at least I can’t fall further behind without ripping *knock on wood*

And there’s the twist, the pattern is asymmetrical.  The theme is Swan Lake and the [...]

What’s in the works Wednesday

No new projects this week.  I’ve been good and haven’t started anything new.
Going to knitting with me is:
Dad’s Golf Shirt - 0 progress, well ok, so I knit 4 rows on it, so it may as well be 0 progress
Sahara - Definate progress here, I’ve finished the body, and am knitting the Hem.  I’ll prolly finish [...]
