CPH

Ok, I know KnitDevil and Mehitabel are both working on the CPH and have been for at least a few weeks now, if not a month or so.  I cast it on 1 week ago and am nearly done with the back, should be finished tonight.  Well Mehitabel and I were chatting, and I mentioned it would be bad form if I finished mine first, what with getting such a late start and all.

So instead I’m issueing a CHALLENGE to both KnitDevil and Mehitable to finish before me. This will give you both at least a week, since I’m working full time and not knitting nearly as much and I’m picking up my new spinning wheel tomorrow.  First one done will get something from my burgeoning stash.  KnitDevil, this will be in addition to the other yarn we discussed as a prize for breaking your sweater curse upon completion.

Knit on knitsters!

Oh, bad bad Marie! I guess I have to accept that challenge–insert evil laugh here–because I happen to know that CPH is a Black Hole of Knitting!

What’s a knitsister for, if not to motivate another? I agree with with LMM; yarn is a great motivator. I’m just glad I didn’t get in on this one because I’d be the first to bury my head in the sand. I hope it’s a 3 way tie!

*gulp* Oh, Marie, what are you doing to us? The competitive side of me is saying “bring it on, knitsister”…and the sane part of me is saying “you know that one about a snowball’s chance….” Heh. I’ll give it my best shot, though. :)

P.S. OM is right - CPH is the black hole of knitting.
P.P.S. How’s your new wheel?! *squee*
