CPH Progress

No I’m not done….yet…. but I am making progress.  Because Mehitable asked, here’s a pic of what is done. The back and both fronts. The first sleeve is OTN and almost to the cap shapping, should be done with that tonight, then the 2nd sleeve.  I just took another look at what’s left, and there is still a lot of knitting left, the hood and the front bands, that’s a lot of knitting in my book.  I think I’m on target for finishing by Wed, but that will depend on how much progress I make this weekend.

At last check Mehitable and KnitDevil were seen on Sleeve Island with me, so we’re neck and neck, or would that be sleeve and sleeve.  Dim Sum Knitting was also seen working on CPH, but she declined to join in the challenge, last report put her on the back almost up to the sleeve shaping, but she’s a quick one so she may be done with the back by now.

Dim Sum has started on the fronts and has just gotten past the ribbing. Not paying attention to the ribbing and then frogging back an inch is a real bummer.

You’ve overtaken me! I planned on blocking my front and back yesterday, but woke with a sinus infection. No knitting today, either. Looks like it’s you and Mehitabel now. I hear ya on the amount of knitting – thinking about the hood and the band makes me feel a leetle overwhelmed at this point. Knit on!

You’ve passed me! Yesterday was scheduled for blocking my back and fronts, but I woke with a sinus infection and haven’t had the energy to deal with blocking…or to knit a stitch on my sleeves. I agree about the amount of knitting still to be done rather daunting, but I know we’ll all succeed…some just slower than others. :) Good luck to you and TC Marie!

Sigh. I’m not only racing with you, I’m racing with the clock! If I’m not done by Wed. morning, I may not finish till next month!

No handspun for me! I’ve officially fallen into third place, done in by the sandpapery BWA and a sinus infection. Double whammy! I’m also a little overwhelmed by the amount of stitchin still left to do, but figure I’ll slog along and it’ll get done eventually. Good luck to ya!
