Friday Harbor Socks on Friday

dsc01510.JPG

Hot off the needles, my Friday Harbor Socks doubling as my March Sock for SAM III.

Pattern:  Friday Harbor From Knitting on the Road by Nancy Bush

Yarn: Fly Super Sport, Merino (370 yards) Colorway: Sky

Needles: #2 Addi Turbo’s, Magic Loop

Mods: I didn’t continue the pattern down to the instep, just left that plain. I did knit these top down, I was being a bit on the lazy side and didn’t feel like converting it to toe-up. I think I like top down, not as much as toe up socks.

Tomorrow marks the officaail start of the Knit Off, so everything else OTN will stay OTN until I finish this weeks project for the Knit Off from now until I’m knocked out or win.

Tonight I’m off to Village Yarn & Tea to knit bracelets for the upcoming cancer walks and for Yarn Pirates first trunk show. The camera and batteries are in my purse, so we’ll just have to see if I remember to use them.

Beauteous sox! SAM3 and Project Spectrum worthy - well done.

It took me a moment to find your FOs and handspun galleries (duh, I was looking in the sidebar)…but they look great.

Hope you kick ass in the Knit Off! I’m rooting for you!

Very cool! I knew you’d get them done! Now to see what kind of booty you hauled in from the Yarn Pirate!
