Handspun

There has been spinning, and here’s the proof

Fiber: BFL from Blue Moon Fiber Arts Colorway Lucy

It worked out to be a sports weight 2 ply about 550 yards, give or take a yard or 3, depends on how accurate i was counting last night and I’m not counting it again.

Any ideas on what I should knit with it? I’m thinking a shoulder shawl or scarf, possibly a small stole, just can’t figure out what though, so if you have any ideas shout out.

I picked this up at Madrona earlier this year, and finally got around to spinning it.   While I was there I also picked up a skein of Lucy, because well I love the colorway, so here they are side by side for comparison.

It would be neat to see that STR reskeined next to your handspun too, rather than just in blocks of colors like that!

I love that Lucy colorway in BM’s yarn and especially in your own handspun. You are such a freakin’ pioner woman, it’s incredible!

Love that colorway, and I like the way the handspun has such a different color effect than the stuff that was dyed after spinning!

Count me in the lovefest, please. Your Lucy handspun will make a beautiful shoulder shawl.

Wow! I love those colors as it is, but your handspun is beyootiful! I’ve been wanting to knit one of those baby surprise jackets, I bet it would look smashing with that!

I love the Lucy colorway too. Your handspun is gorgeous! I bet a chevron scarf would look great.
