My start date is still not set…

Things are bowling along so quickly to get me on the job and started. I went into an orientation today, apparently you can now consider me oriented. Those that are in the know are probably laughing about now, half the time the only way I know which way is up is because of gravity, never mind that the mountains are in the ease, I mean north, no they’re back in the east where they belong. All my paper work is submitted, my soon to be new manager is anxious to get me in, I’m anxious to get in.

So what, you may ask is the hold up. The thing is everything is moving fast from ever direction but one, the background check. There are some slight hold ups, as of right now I may start tomorrow or I may start Friday, or maybe Monday. It could all happen as quick as a call, we got you covered, you can go in now. Oh well, in the mean time, what better way to pass time than to knit.

Oh yeah, this is a knitting blog, well no pics to share, but there has been progress. On DH’s sweater, the sleeves are done, the body is done, now I just need to do the button band then I can block it. On Eris, she’s knit down to an inch beneath where the armholes are separated out. She’ll be getting some more attention once DH’s sweater gets a button band. I even have the buttons to sew on said sweater, I just have to find them again. Socks, well there was progress, I even turned a heel, but then I tried it on and it was precisely 1″ short, out went the heel and I’m knitting on it again, it didn’t even get a time out.

See, I get all confused. I have mountains to the east and west. And the water is sort of north… wait… those are trees. So water is north westish… Oh crap….

Oriented?? Are you making a racial comment?! LOL Then you’re definitely oriented imho.

The mountains here are definitely to the north–the hills are to the south. Oh, and looking east, there’s another mountain, Mt. Baldy. West? Well, all you can see today is smog.
