Weekend updates…pics at a later time
This last weekend was the first weekend in a few months where DH didn’t have a class or to study, so we got in the car Saturday morning, went out to breakfast, then headed up to Mt. Baker. I did get some beautiful pics, and DH got some with my camera too, it’s just a matter of having time to upload them, sometime this week it will happen.
The socks I posted late Saturday night were completed on that trip. I did talk DH into stopping by a book store too, so HP7 was purchased and came home with us.
So I started reading HP7 when we got home, and somehow or another it was suddenly Sunday night, I finished the book and looked down to find out I had knitted quite a bit of Sahara while reading. The arm hole shapping is done, I’m well into the waist shapping, and I’ve already made it past where the front and back are joined in the round. Amazing, what can happen when you’re not paying attention to what you’re knitting.
I’ve got a full week this week, and MS3 was severely neglected this weekend. I’m taking a Navajo plying class tomorrow night, and I still have just a bit more to spin tonight in preperation for that. Wed is knit night, and Thrusday is spinning, so it’ll likely be the end of the week before I’ll have a chance to post any pics from this last weekend.

Such a busy girl you are! This past weekend Tom and I went to Cruise Night in downtown Glendale to check out the classic cars, and then Marie, Jillian and I went to Ellen’s birthday party. Fun!

Did you enjoy HP7? I didn’t care for the last movie. I bought the book for Jill but I won’t read it. I went to a ELN reunion and Vegas this past weekend. Oh, I also finished a quilt! I was a little bad and purchased some handpainted wool.
