Woven Scarf

Proof that I actually do some weaving.

Loom: Schacht Flip Rigid Heddle

Reed: 10 dpi

Yarn:  Yarn Pirate - Icicle – Merino Tencel from the Yarn Pirate Booty Club.

I thought about doing a lacier pattern with this, but in the end went with a plain weave, and the colors worked out beautifully.  Used the yarn for both warp and weft and just went the flow.  Took a few nights in front of the TV, once I got the warp on :) .

    That’s a great use for that yarn! I loved the colors when mine came, but I really dislike the way tencel feels, so I haven’t done anything with it. But this gives me an idea…
